  • Will I need to be vaccinated to attend the 2023 Data & Analytics Conference?

    We are not asking attendees to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. NIC reserves the right to change this policy at any time.

  • What are the current conference safety protocols?

    Please refer to the Health and Safety page for the latest safety recommendations. It’s possible the protocols will be revised leading up to the conference. Check back often. Also, upon registration, you will be asked to agree to the COVID-19 Acknowledgement and Assumption of Risk and Release.

  • What is the dress code for this event?

    Business casual

  • How many attendees are expected to attend this event?

    The conference is limited to 500 attendees.

  • I’m already a power user of the NIC MAP Vision platform, should I attend?

    Yes! The NIC Data & Analytics Conference is not a NIC MAP Vision user meeting. The conference is intended to inform all data users in the industry, regardless of the data sources and platforms used, of best practices in property analysis, key input metrics, and more. Plus, it’s an opportunity to meet and collaborate with like-minded peers so if you are a stakeholder in this industry, whether you are a NIC MAP Vision user or not, this conference is for you. 

  • How do I receive my conference badge?

    You will pick up your badge at the NIC On-site Registration desk located on the 4th floor of the Minneapolis Marriott City Center.

  • Do you allow on-site registration?

    For the 2023 Data & Analytics Conference, we do not anticipate offering on-site registration due to the limited number of attendee spots available.

  • When does the Early Bird rate end?

    To take advantage of Early Bird registration rates, registrations must be received by the NIC Registrar no later than Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at 11:59 PM PT.

  • When does registration close?

    Registration is scheduled to close on September 14, 2023.

  • Can I pay by check?

    Yes, payments by check will be accepted until Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Registrations submitted using the check payment option are considered pending until payment is received.

    To avoid cancellation, payment must be received within 7-10 business days of submitting online registration. In the event of cancellation, hotel rooms reserved at the NIC group rate may also be canceled by NIC. Conference re-registration will be at the current registration rates.
    Please note that registrations purchased using company checks/credit cards can be canceled by company personnel on your behalf.
    To pay by credit card, after selecting the check payment option, please select the “already registered” button, enter your email address and confirmation number, and submit payment.

  • What is NIC's event registration cancellation policy?

    Cancellations must be submitted online via the event registration site or by email to registrar@nic.org
    Cancellations received before Friday, August 4 will be assessed a $150 administrative fee.
    After August 4 no refunds will be granted.
    NIC does not issue credits for future NIC events.
    In the event of registration cancellation, hotel rooms reserved at the NIC group rate may run the risk of also being canceled. Conference re-registration will be at the current registration rates.

  • What is NIC's event registration replacement policy?

    If you are no longer able to attend the 2023 NIC Data & Analytics Conference and your company would like to replace your registration with another colleague, the original registration will be canceled, and your company will be provided a code to honor the rate of the original registrant. Any replacements after Friday, August 4 will be assessed a $25 administrative fee.

    Traveling to the NIC Data & Analytics Conference, via air, is a convenient option with one major airport servicing the Minneapolis area:

  • Is there a room block for the hotel?

    NIC has reserved a limited number of rooms at a discounted rate for registered attendees. Room blocks are available at the following hotels:
    Minneapolis Marriott City Center – starting at $239 per night + applicable taxes and fees
    Guestrooms, at the reduced rate, will be available through September 1, 2023, or until the NIC room blocks are sold out, whichever comes first.

  • What is the discounted hotel room rate for registered attendees?

  • How do I change/replace/cancel my hotel reservation?

    Please contact the hotel directly for name changes, arrival/departure changes, and/or cancellations. The hotel’s standard cancellation policy will apply.

  • Who do I speak with regarding information to become a sponsor?

    Contact sponsorships@nic.org for information and a list of available sponsorships.

  • When will the Attendee Listing become available?

    You will receive an attendee list in the Know Before You Go email the week leading up to the conference.
